Through a blend of theoretical foundations and hands-on practical skills development, participants engage in diverse learning activities aimed at providing a holistic understanding of hybrid and electric vehicle (HEV) technology. Moreover, guest speaker presentations by industry experts provide valuable insights into current trends and real-world applications. PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Program Overview:
In this program, students engage in diverse learning activities for a holistic understanding of hybrid and electric vehicle (HEV) technology. Classroom lectures offer theoretical foundations, while hands-on lab sessions provide practical skills in diagnosing and repairing HEV components. Program Accreditation:

The application is currently in process. No enrollments, advertisements, or marketing will be entertained until this program is approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. 

Length of the Program:
The duration of our program spans six weeks, encompassing a total of 180 hours of comprehensive instruction and hands-on training. This condensed time frame ensures that students receive a focused and intensive educational experience, preparing them effectively for their chosen career paths within the renewable energy industry.

Before being accepted into our program, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

  1. English Language Proficiency Requirements
    • IELTS Academic: Minimum overall score of 5.5 OR
    • TOEFL iBT: Minimum overall score of 46 OR
    • CELPIP:
      • Listening: 6
      • Speaking: 6
      • Reading: 5
      • Writing: 5   OR
    • CAEL: Minimum overall score of 40 OR
    • Duolingo English Test: Minimum overall score of 95 OR
    • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Minimum overall score of 43 OR
    • Cambridge English Qualifications: B2 First exam (FCE) Institutions may include other Cambridge Qualifications at a higher level (i.e., C2 Proficiency (CPE)).
      • B2 First (FCE): Minimum overall score of 160 or “C” OR
    • Cambridge Linguaskill: Minimum overall B2 level OR
    • LANGUAGECERT Academic: Minimum overall B2 level OR
    • Michigan English Test (MET): Minimum overall B2 level OR
    • iTEP Academic: Minimum overall score of 3.5 OR
    • EIKEN: Minimum placement of Grade Pre-1 OR
    • High School Credential:
      • Evidence of 3 years full-time secondary education (Grade 8 to Grade 12)
      • Minimum passing grade of C in English 10, 11, or 12 AND
  2. Program Proficiency Requirement
    • Successful completion of provincially recognized Grade 10, 11, or 12 Mathematics with a minimum passing score of C. OR
    • Successful completion of a math assessment conducted in-house by Ace Community College with a minimum score of 50%.
