Requirements for Enrollment
To enroll in any of the Level 1 Challenge Courses, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: Must have some experience in the Automotive Trade
- Work-Based Training Hours: Completion of 1,800 work-based training hours (1+ year) in the trade.

- Understand the fundamental principles of automotive systems, including engine components, fuel systems, and electrical systems.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Use modern diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot common automotive issues.

- Recognize industry standards and regulations related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills in a team-oriented automotive setting.
