Automotive Red Seal Instructor

Our Automotive Technician Red Seal Instructor is a fully licensed professional, one of the few to have worked across every province. With specialties in drivability, electrical systems, and air conditioning, his expertise spans a lifetime of hands-on experience, from tractors to race cars. He believes every day is an opportunity for learning and growth, and he shares his vast knowledge of the trade with apprentices and journey persons both in the classroom and in real-world settings. Having been with ATTI for many years, he is dedicated to teaching the Automotive Technician Red Seal Refresher Course.

Carpentry Red Seal Instructor

Our Carpentry Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor is a Red Seal Carpenter and has been doing home renovations as long as he could remember. His interest in building and construction has brought him to New Mexico to learn about Earth ships, Vancouver Island, Belize and many more places to teach Carpentry.   He currently works full time as a carpentry instructor in East Vancouver supporting individuals who want to enter the carpentry field and teaches Carpentry Red Seal Refresher Course for ATTI.  He has worked as a carpenter, site supervisor, project coordinator and custom projects and renovations across Toronto and Vancouver. He is an excellent Instructor and is always willing to support all his students in their journey to achieve Red Seal ticket for the Carpentry Trade.

Electrical Red Seal Instructor / Dean of College of Trades

Our electrical Instructor has been working with ATTI for over 19 years. She holds a Red Seal Certification in the Electrical Trade and a Professional Engineer with P.Eng designation in good standing with APEGBC. She also holds an Electrical Contractors license (FSR B ticket) a Master Electrician Certificate of Competency from Safety Codes Council in the province of Alberta. She is an approved Instructor for Canadian Electrical Code Course by Technical Safety BC. In the last 20 years, she has taught over 5000 apprentices, electricians and engineers preparing for apprenticeship level exams as well as Red seal exam all around Canada and abroad. She has successfully designed numerous engineering projects and supported engineers via mentorship, guidance, training, and support in their journey to get P.Eng. designation.

Heavy Equipment Technician Red Seal Instructor

Our Heavy Equipment Technician Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor is an experienced technical instructor with a background in off road and railway equipment. Red seal endorsed with a high achievement award from the Minister of Education and training, plus over 30 years of experience as a heavy equipment technician brings knowledge you can learn from. High quality training as a technical instructor at his former job (retired) at CN Rail ensures your class is run professionally, respectfully and with the techniques to make you successful.

Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Instructor

Our Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor has been working in the millwright trade for close to 40 years and within this time he has been instructing for 23 years. He really enjoys teaching the Red Seal Refresher course with ATTI as this gives him an opportunity to educate, guide and support candidates with years of experience to successfully challenge and pass Red Seal exam in order get their Millwright ticket.

Instrumentation Red Seal Instructor

Our Instrumentation Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor is an experienced Electrical Engineer (B.Tech in Electronics & Communication) with over 20 years of Technical and 15 years of Management Experience. He is Red Seal Certified Instrumentation Technician with hands-on experience in implementing projects, Railways and Certified Scrum Master Certification which allows him to manage projects with Cross-functional teams with an iterative, incremental approach to optimize predictability and control risk. He is also Microchip Technology Certified Training Partner which allows to train students in field of Micro controller Programming and Electronics Design. As an Electrical Design Engineer, he has delivered more than 20 field tested and successful projects/products. In the last 5 years he has tried to impart the knowledge he has gained to students through Various Training Modules developed by him in the field of Instrument Technician, Program/Project Management using SCRUM and Micro controller Programming/Electronics Design.

Powerline Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor

Our Powerline Red Seal refresher course instructor is a Red Seal Certified Electrician since 1988 and Red Seal certified Power Line Technician since 1991. He also has a teaching degree since 2013 (PID) and holds class A FSR/electrical contractors license since 1997. He is a Canadian Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) since 2017 and has taught HV cable Splicer Apprentices for many years. He has worked as a trades training instructor for BC Hydro, Rokstad Power and Allteck Line contractors since 2011. He really enjoys teaching the Red Seal Refresher course with ATTI as this course gives him an opportunity to share the skill and training, he has acquired in the Power line trade in last 30 years with his students to help them in their goal of Red Seal certification.

Steamfitting/Pipefitting Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor

Our Steam fitting/Pipefitting Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor holds a Pipefitter/Steamfitter, Plumber and “A” Gasfitter Red Seal ticket in all the trades mentioned. He has been working in the trade since 1965. His experience includes installing systems in oil refineries, potash plants, coal fired generating stations, pulp and paper mills, coal export plants, grain elevators, high rise office and residential buildings. He is experienced in design and installation of hot water, radiant floor and forced air heating systems using gas, oil, wood and geothermal heat pumps, design and installation of well systems for commercial and residential use. He has worked at Holland College PEI as Learning Manager Pipefitting/Plumbing apprenticeship program. Instrumental in instructing tradesmen via numerous night school programs to obtain their Red Seal certificate. One of the best moments from teaching, he has been a call from 3 students on one day, telling him” I PASSED”. He feels nothing can equal that feeling of accomplishment. That’s what he loves about teaching with ATTI and that’s why he chose to be a TEACHER NOT AN INSTRUCTOR.

Truck & Transport Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor

Our Truck & Transport Mechanic Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor has over 30 year of experience in the trade with extensive knowledge of the trade and specializes in technical writing/teaching/training trades personnel and has taught many apprentices over the years. Currently retired but works part time as Red Seal Refresher Course instructor with ATTI to impart his extensive knowledge and technical skills to educate candidates preparing for the exam.

Welding Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor

Our Welding IP Red Seal Refresher Course Instructor has been involved in the welding industry since 1989 as a Welder, Pressure Welder, Welding Supervisor, Welding Instructor and a Welding Inspector. He received his welding training at Kwantlen Polytechnic University where he did his three levels of welding and finally got his pressure certifications and his Red Seal Certificate. He has worked in a variety of projects from structural welds to pressure welds in oil refineries, pressure welding shops, pipelines and the transportation industry. As a welding inspector he worked as a Certified IICL 5 Inspector endorsed by the American Bureau of Shipping for over eight years. He has also worked as a Level 2 CWB Inspector in Fort McMurray and Vancouver. He is Certified as a welding Inspector by both the American Welding Society and the Canadian Welding Bureau. He graduated from Washtenaw Community College as a Certified Welding Instructor. Recently he worked for The United Association Piping Industry College of B.C. for close to five years. Lastly, he is doing what he loves to do teaching for us at ATTI.
